We benchmark and select providers on medical capability, operational performance and customer care, then monitor and audit them on an ongoing basis. Every provider is held to our network quality standards, with upgrades or replacements where needed. We continuously track the market to bring in new providers and innovations as partner needs evolve.
Claims, medical cost containment and 24/7 case coordination
Healthcare abroad can be complex and costly. We apply cost-containment processes with transparent oversight to keep healthcare costs abroad under control. From first contact to case closure, we coordinate medical appropriateness of treatment, cost control in line with fair pricing policies, communication between providers, hospitals, insurers and partners, and 24/7 operational support.
We secure guarantees of payment and pay providers directly to ensure treatment starts without delay. Medical and non-medical claims, including baggage and cancellation, are handled on behalf of insurers. Medical bills are reviewed against reasonable and customary charges and negotiated with hospitals and providers, and suspicious claims are investigated for fraud.
Health services, air ambulance and medical repatriation coordination
ARC Europe offers telemedicine through real-time two-way communication. When a patient is hospitalised, we ensure medical follow-up throughout the stay and arrange second medical opinions when needed. Pre-existing medical conditions can be screened to support underwriting, and medication can be delivered to travellers abroad.
When a case requires evacuation or air ambulance repatriation, ARC Europe coordinates medically supervised transport through a specialised air ambulance platform and a network of accredited operators. Solutions are tailored to the patient’s condition and destination, including repatriation escorted by a doctor or a nurse, with case continuity from bed to bed, from ground to air and back again.

We bring road and medical assistance together in a single case, with coordinated case management from first contact to closure. We also organise vehicle assistance abroad, from breakdown and towing to the repatriation of passengers and vehicle, alongside non-medical travel assistance such as lost documents or travel disruption.
